Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary:

3. HISTORIC PALACES
From Lal Bagh Palace to Rajwada Palace, there are plenty of grand structures to visit in Indore. Discover the city’s heritage and natural beauty with these must-see attractions.
Rajwada Palace:
This seven-storey palace was the residence of the Holkars. It is a famous structure in Indore, a beautiful combination of three architectural styles – Mughal, Maratha, and French. Some people also call the palace “Rajwada”.
You can easily spend a few hours admiring the beauty of the structure. Drop by the palace during functions and festivals where the interior is brightly lit and colourfully decorated.
Lal Bagh Palace:
The beautiful Palace is situated in the outskirts of the Indore city. It is a three storey building standing tall on the banks of the River Khan. The Palace manifests the life style of the Maratha Rulers.
The palace also exhibits many contemporary Indian and Italian paintings and sculptures. It is adorned with Italian marbles and cast complete with Belgian windows as well as posh chandeliers.
4. HISTORIC TEMPLES
One of the largest cities in Madhya Pradesh, Indore has many historic temples like Kanch Mandir and Gomatgiri. It is also close to pilgrimage sites such as Ujjain, Maheshwar and Omkareshwar.
Kanch Mandir:

Kanch Mandir means Glass Temple, and glass is indeed the main feature of this temple. It is a well-known Jain temple in Indore. One of the main festivals celebrated here is Mahavir Jayanti where statues of Mahavira are bathed.
This temple is made up of colourful glass panels and mosaics which will left you stunned by the intricate, multicolour decoration inside the temple!
Gomatgiri:

Gomatgiri, a small hillock near Indore, is one of the most popular religious attractions for the followers of Jainism.
It is known for its nearly 21 feet statue of Gomateshwar. The statue is said to be an exact replica of the Bahubali statue. Also, what makes Gomatgiri interesting is the presence of 24 marble temples.
5. INDORE MUSEUM
Indore Museum is also known as Central Museum. It is located near the General Post Office in Indore. It displays some of the rare and elegant collection that deserves the status of being maintained, for the generations to see.
Central Museum:

This museum houses an excellent collection of ancient and medieval Hindu Parmar sculptures, as well as copper inscriptions, tools, coins, and arms and armour from Madhya Pradesh.
There are two galleries in the Museum.The artefacts exhibited in the museum range from the prehistoric to the modern era. Its main features include proportioned figures, careful and intricate ornamentation and depiction in stone.
6. INDORE MARKETS
Indore is the largest city of Madhya Pradesh in India. With its vibrant bazaars and street food, the list of things to explore the busy streets and attractions in Indore is endless.
Sarafa Bazaar:
Indulge in the best local treats such as poha jalebi, samosa, chaat, kachori. Those with a sweet tooth can satisfy their dessert cravings over some authentic Indian kulfi, malpua, rabri and a variety of laddoo.
This market transform from selling jewellery during the day to selling street food at night. So you should drop by the bazaar twice to experience both worlds of Indore’s street activities.
